10 years ago, I went from a meat-eating cheese-loving European diet to a vegan lifestyle overnight. It was not a smooth transition; I went through a major detox and became very sick for six months. Brought up with copious amounts of dairy and salami in the fridge, the damage done from all the animal products I had eaten throughout my life became visible once I stopped consuming them.

I was then faced with many challenges from friends and family about my choices and realised that by undertaking a course in NYC with Main Street Vegan Academy to be a Vegan Lifestyle Coach, I would be better equipped for my own journey in helping others transition to a better way of living. My whole life changed through this process and my head was finally clear afterwards - I saw the world completely differently. My friends and family noticed the positive changes in me which lead me to begin studies in Nutritional Medicine. This experience was both scary and exciting for me, however after beginning my studies, I soon realised that a plant based diet has become the recommended way of eating across the world with additional major benefits for the planets survival into the future. I then travelled further to India which I have a deep connection with and love for, and completed a 200 level RYS in Hatha Yoga.

I believe that healthy food is the most effective and affordable form of medicine. I take a holistic approach with every client to incorporate all aspects of wellness into the coaching process and when these merge with your daily life, you achieve the best results. My love for holistic wellness is shown through my diligence and dedication to my clients and friends. A person’s overall wellness encompasses more than just the physical body: the mind and spirit are equally as important to me when evaluating an individual.

I continue to travel the globe, love my animals, keep updated with the latest nutrition research and continue my passion for yoga as well as exploring the plant-based world; its supermarkets, cafés, restaurants, bars and people. I am always looking forward to my next adventure. My next area of research will be Sports Nutrition.
